From Facebook: Come on out to the Sunday Afternoon Contra and Square dance at the Brooktondale Community Center on May 19 2-5pm!! All dances taught and called with good humour and fun by Vikki Armstrong. Cap Cooke of the Flywheels fame will be picking the banjo and has assembled a stunning stringband of old-time all-stars: Sam Schmidt-fiddle, Randi Beckmann-guitar, Sally Freund-bass. All are welcome! Beginners encouraged! There will be snacks! And it's much more fun if you'll be there!
